My Car

HHHHEEEELLLLPPPP!!!It is always something. Today as I was leaving work,my car started acting very strange. The engine started to flicker and the lights dimmed. I quickly turned off the air and the car didn't stall,but then the air wouldn't come back on and some other lights came on. I smelled some smell from the car, but I did get to the school to pick up S. Then I drove to the car place, they looked at the car and came up with $1500.00 to fix the air ? It may as well be 100,000 because I don't have the $ to fix it. I asked what would happen if I drove it without air, they said it would eventually cause this and that and cause it to overheat and blow.
Tomarrow luckily I have the day off but I have to figure out what my options are to fix the car.WTF
I'm going to go watch TV to see what happened to New Orleans>

Cat 5, Katrina....

This is one hell of a storm. It was only a catogory 1 when it hit us, but it did alot of damage and lots of flooding. People are still with out power. Luckily my power only when on and off a couple times, but for the most part stayed on. Although the phone service and internet was out for a day or two here at my house.My friend lost her car when 2, twenty foot palms crashed down on top of her car!!! Her power didn't come on until last night and there were trees down everywhere.
I am really concerned for the people that live in the path of this monsterous storm!!! New Orleans!!! They are well below sea level and probably are not prepared. I wonder how all those old, historical buildings will fare. They say the storm surge could be 20 to 30 feet... the man on the news was saying how 2 to 3 foot waves to them were like 7 to 8 foot for us,(based on the 6 feet below sea level they sit)...that the whole town could be underwater. I saw on the news tonight that there was a mandatory evacuation, let's hope all listen to the warning!!!
Well, school's back on tomarrow for S, and the power was just restored at my work, so tomarrow it's ON!!!he-he-he....

Get out the rain coat!!!

Here comes the storm, schools are closed. All public gov offices except police and fire, and no word yet about the REASTURANT(sp) that I work in. Sure, I dont mind spending $10 of the $24 in gas I was able to put into my car(I say "was able", because some gas stations ran out of gas already)to drive over and make no $ and get rained on, just to be sent home at noon... Really I'm not mad, I'm just being sarcastic. Well, I'm going to go get my coffee and head out....keep you updated as events ocurr!! love ya

here comes a hurricane....

Katrina...that's the name of the hurricane...or tropical storm getting ready to turn hurricane. They have also already closed school for the next 2 days... Wonderful. I don't know about work yet because it is closer to the beach. They expect it to hit Thursday night or Friday early AM.It is starting to get windy and dark clouds already... It's all part of living in FLorida.
I have to go to the store and get food, water and whatever. In case the hurricane comes. I'm tired and don't really feel like doing much, but I don't want to wait till the entire town goes and there is no more water. See ya...

Off work today.... yeah baby....

So I only have about 500,000 things to do today But with good timing and Starbucks I should be able to get them all done. I have to get S to the Dr. to get the school physical for the Track team. Then go to Boca for my appt.
Also, yesterday my cars air conditioning and radio went out.... the whole side of the dash on that side will not work....great timing.....absolutley no money and 100 degree weather, but I have to get it fixed now!!!when it rains every afternoon I can't ride around with the windows down!!!! also the CM thing is so not going to happen this month!!!Embarassed as I am about it I'm going to have to call Kathy D. (my upline) and send her her money back and say I can't place the order this mopnth...oh well what cxan you do.... nothing! Well if I'm going to get anything done I better do it now!!!

TGIF...I'm so done....

Wooooooooooooow , I am so tired,I haven't slept because I went out last night to South Beach and then worked today. I went to Crobar with Yvonne, Rawle and friends from Michagan that I've known for a long time. We had soooo much fun.I haden't been out for a long time, and the moon was full, and the party right. So off I went, with all my work crap in the car. Parked my car at work and rode down with them,they dropped me back off at work, and I got ready & waited till time to go in to work.I almost fell asleep in the car waiting to go in, but the guys on the radio in the morning are so funny I was laughing my ass off!!! It was slow today..Thank God... because I would never have made it if it had been super busy. As it was I made decient $ and got tot leave early.
Also I'm off for the next day or 2 so I figured I could make it...
I have to place a CM order in the next day or so, so in the AM I have to figure out how to do that. Well, I've got a few calls to make and then off to watch a little TV and go to sleep! SEE YA!

Feeling good

today is another sunny, hot day. I feel good, cheerfull and positive. S is still sick and took alot af meds that are making her feel tired. I'm about to go out to the grocery store and see if i can buy enough grocerys so i don't have to go to the store every day this week. =)
I'm going to work tonight and hopefully will do well. I realized that i have a problem, a shopping addiction. I see a sale, and I almost got ready to go and see what was there, even though i don't have the money for anything but bills for the next week or so.I had to really force myself to think about why I was going and do I really need anything there. The answer was Yes, I need clothes, BUT, I can wear what I have for the next week or so till I pay my bills. Some times I feel like such an idiot because it gives me GREAT pleasure and satisfaction to find sales and purchase things. It could be profatible if I would resale them like I think I will when I buy them, but I never do, I just hoard them as if they are some type of trophy. A positive note to all of this is that i'm actually setting up my Ebay selling account!!!
Last night I went to walmart and got paint to paint my bathroom it was only $10 so I didn't feel bad. It will look wonderful and make me happy.
Also Richard had an idea for me, but I need to talk to my SISTER to see what ideas she has.
This means call me soon.
Now off to the grocery store!!!!

Happy Saturday

Well it's another beautiful sunny day. We are about to go to the pool. Summer is sick with a cough and slight cold, but still wants to get outside, so off we are. I talked to FPL and now have a few more days to come up with the $.
I'm feeling better from the antibiotics the doc gave me wed. but i will have to cancel the other app. I told you about because I will not have the money by then. Oh, well what the fluck. So anyway on to sweeter news, is that yalls dog in the pool? he's so cute.
well, i guess i'm off to the pool before it gets too hot.
Oh yeah this post is directed mostly to BAR!!!
